I love my Kindle 2. My husband Kevin surprised me with a Kindle 2 for my 50th birthday. He was so exicited, he tried to give me my present 2 weeks early. He did give me my present 3 days early. Believe it or not I had not heard much about the Kindle 2 but was so exicited to receive it as a gift. I love to read and I am addicted to the Kindle 2. It is the greatest idea. I love how easy it is to down load a book. I also love that you can sample two chapters so you know if you want to purchase the book. I love the built in dictionary. The cost of the book is so much cheaper than buying the book and some books are free. I can not read fast enough to read everything that is on my Kindle 2. Kevin also bought me the cover and 3 books I had wanted. He also downloaded lots of other books. I plan to purchase a night light and many more books soon. I love my Kindle and enjoy reading on it. I spend 6 months in Mexico every year and it's a great help not to have to drag books in my luggage. I was annoyed that the $1.99 fee wasn't declared right up front in the info that came with my Kindle. I don't mind the fee, I just mind that I wasn't made properly aware of it up front so that I could have downloaded more books while in the US. That said, I'm very satisfied.
